Ever since World Cup started my work flow has been admittedly a little bit slower. Not because I can't focus on work but because streaming games with my internet bandwidth slows down my whole computer. My desktop for a good portion of the work day looks like this....
Soccer (Futbol for all my international readers) is my favorite sport to watch and I often try to catch as many games as I can. Thanks to web streaming I can now work while I watch almost anything (Thanks to Hulu and Netflix for the most part)
So one would think I would take a long break since completing the graphic novel. Yes and no. The whole family is going on vacation to Hawaii but I still had a big puzzle project (along with a few other loose ends) that I had to finish up before we leave. This took a bit longer than I had anticipated because of how intricate some of the details were (and quite frankly I'm just a little burned out so I was working a little slower) but overall I'm quite satisfied with the results. It will be a 4 foot tall floor puzzle for kids which will be manufactured through a great company called Crocodile Creek. They wanted a Circus theme which included counting and this is what I came up with...
Hawaii here I come.
The puzzle imagery looks amazing. Especially the counting up to 10... really nicely done.
And I'm amazed you can still work with your desktop looking like that. It's looks very cluttered and I really wouldn't be able to focus :)
And now enjoy your vacation!

Looks great Dan! A well deserved break indeed. Have a good holiday and have fun recovering.
BTW, is that giant puzzle painted at actual size or was it digital? It's so good I can't tell.

I guess I should be just pumping you full of hot air like the other commenters. But I can't. So, that image is a bit crap. What's the with the faces of the giraffes - they look more like snakes. And why do the seals look like turds? The 123 at the top totally clashes style-wise. But I can see you put a lot of work into the background at least.
