In 2009 I found myself completing my second full year as a freelance illustrator. Lots of fun things were created....
There were schoolgirls with robots...
A boy named Bobby...
A genie from outer space...
Some angry candy eating bunnies from another planet...
some kids fighting goblins...
a pig nanny named Nanny Piggins...
and a few friends....
We saw a chicken raise the roof....
and an entire zoo show off their heinies...
I showed my face on the East Coast....
Did some nifty interviews....
Interview with Dan Santat from Elizabeth Bird on Vimeo.
All while doing an eight month addition to the house....
What's in store for 2010?
So far it's about manners in the the theater, firemen, cats, dogs, little chicks, a Bawktastic sequel, another tale about a boy named Bobby, a stuntman, my opus....
and many more videos.
There's always room for more....
A special thanks to all you readers for tuning in to my blog to allow me to vent, rant, and share with you the nonsense that I spew. It's a lonely business this thing we call 'freelance'. It's a lonely place and regardless of people reading my writings or not it's nice to be able to shout things out loud and hear a few of your comments.
Here's to 2010.
Slacker!
(Kidding! Kidding! But I am wondering when you are going to pick up the pace.)
