I've been spending a lot of time lately fine tuning my design sense. I feel like for the past two years I've been rushing to get work done for clients and the designs haven't exaclty been what I would call my best. I've been looking at all the great art blogs out there in the world wide web and realized that I could use some fine tuning. As an excercise to myself I've been taking time to look at old great artists like Miroslav Sasek and then sit and think about shapes, and negative space and color and taking a real good length of time to think about the linework and decisions I make. These are awesome. Love the fox. It must be really refreshing to slow down and allow yourself the opportunity to potentially overthink a piece!!
